Return Policy 

We want you to love your purchase!  Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order if there is a problem.  If there is a cutting or picking error, please send us a picture and we will make it right, at our cost.  If there is a defect, we will replace or refund once we have received authorization from the supplier.  Please note that fabric defects are considered to be more than 1 inch in size.  We are unable to refund cut fabrics, kits, or opened patterns.  Items returned to Monkland Quilt Studio are shipped at the purchasers expense, with a 20% restocking fee, without original shipping reimbursement.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items are packed in a way that there is no damage in the shipping process. Returned items must be in the saleable condition (unwashed, unopened, used).  Refunds will not be issued until the product is received and inspected.  

Colour Matching 

We strive to take pictures that accurately show the colour of the fabrics.  There can be discrepancies, also with the digital swatches provided by the manufacturer, so if you need an exact match, please book an online consultation, or email to request a swatch by mail.  A fee will be charged for mailed swatches. 


As we often order from the manufacturer based on customer demand, all pre-orders are a final sale.  If you are ordering other items along with a pre-order, the items will be held until the pre-order is released, and everything will be shipped together.   If you require your other items immediately, please place a separate order.  Delivery times for pre-orders are estimates, and Monkland Quilt Studio is not responsible for delays due to manufacturers shipping times.  We aim to have all pre-orders processed and shipped within 3 days of receiving them from the supplier. Discount codes do not apply to pre-orders.

Special Orders 

If we have ordered an item specifically for you, we will not issue a refund unless there is a defect.

Changes to Orders After Payment

It is sometimes possible to make changes to orders after they have been placed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to make changes.  Any items removed from an order that has already been placed will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.  Items that have already been processed (cut fabric) cannot be removed/refunded.
